Office of the President

Welcome to Indiana Tech and thank you for taking time to learn about our remarkable university.

It is a great honor to serve as president of Indiana Tech. Our dedicated faculty, staff, administrators, and coaches work so hard and so well to prepare our students of all ages for the global 21st century society. They are all a vital part of our rich history of providing career-focused educational programs. Since our founding in 1930, Indiana Tech has been at the forefront of what is new and relevant in higher education. We aren’t afraid to try new things–we are innovative and our entrepreneurial spirit is evident in our students and our graduates.

You’ll find our graduates doing great things. They teach in our schools; serve our country; work for non-profits; and start their own businesses. You’ll also find them working at our nation’s best companies: Microsoft, Apple, Google, Boeing, General Electric, General Motors, Ford Motor Company, and Coca-Cola just to name a few.

Indiana Tech’s mission to motivate students toward a life of significance and worth is particularly meaningful to all of us in the Warrior community. In all that we do, we strive to educate the whole student–in body, mind and spirit. We’re a center of intellectual and academic engagement; we offer opportunities for exercise, recreation, contemplation and spiritual reflection; and we enable students at every stage of life to balance their studies, work and family. This is how, together, we serve our students and motivate them toward a life of significance and worth.

As part of our commitment to excellence, all of us at Indiana Tech regularly look to the future in seeking ways to continually improve our university and the experience of our students. As we build towards the future, we are committed to organizing our actions around three fundamental activities: we will ENGAGE, we will EXCEL, and we will EXTEND.

We will ENGAGE with all our students to connect with our faculty, to serve in our local communities, and to discover new career opportunities.

We will EXCEL in everything we do–our students will be successful; we will offer the best career-focused academic programs; and our operations will be financially sustainable.

We will EXTEND our reach to educate more students, to promote our alumni network, and to inform the world of the great things our students and faculty are doing at Indiana Tech.

Right over our horizon is Indiana Tech’s centennial celebration, in 2030. Whether you are a prospective student, a current student, an alum, or a member of the community, I hope you will join us planning our future and taking the journey to our 100th anniversary together.

Thank you for your interest in and your support of Indiana Tech!

Best regards,

Dr. Karl Einolf Signature
