Maria G. Einolf
Presidential Student Ambassadors
Founded in 2022, Indiana Tech’s Presidential Student Ambassadors program brings together a diverse team of outstanding Indiana Tech students each year to represent the university at official events. Ambassadors perform service projects and share the Indiana Tech story around the community; welcome alumni, family and friends of the university to events such as homecoming; and join university leaders to share the voice of our student body at Board of Trustees meetings throughout each academic year.

In 2024, Indiana Tech’s Board of Trustees voted to name the program in honor of Indiana Tech’s “first mom”, Maria G. Einolf, in recognition of her exemplary commitment and dedication to Indiana Tech and all its students. As part of this recognition, the Board established an endowment to help support the Student Ambassadors program in perpetuity. The Maria G. Einolf Presidential Ambassadors Program Fund supports students in the program with leadership development opportunities and with their work to represent Indiana Tech around our community, at alumni and trustee events campus, in service projects, and more.
Students interested in serving as Presidential Student Ambassador can learn more by contacting Kristi Jarmus, Indiana Tech Director of Alumni Relations, at kjarmus@indianatech.edu or 260-399-2837 or by applying via application form below. Applications are accepted each year for selection and service during the following academic year with a deadline of March 28th.
